Monkey Mia Infrastructure Upgrade
The Monkey Mia Infrastructure Precinct was upgraded in 2012 with the construction of a new waste water treatment plant, replacement of the potable water treatment plant and an upgrade of the power generation plant.
Further upgrades occurred in November 2017 in line with the RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort expansion and upgrade.
Project Development
- Construction of new Waste Water Treatment Plant and further upgrades to cater for increased capacity. Hydraulic capacity increased to 450kL/day
- Replacement of Potable Water Treatment Plant and further upgrades to cater for increased capacity – Storage capacity increased to 750kL
- Upgrade of the Power Generation Plant – Projected peak capacity 488kVa
